Dr. Schwartzenberger is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand. He specializes in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist conditions including microsurgery, arthroscopic technique and shoulder arthroplasty (shoulder replacement surgery). Dr. Schwartzenberger is a Butte, Montana native and Butte High School graduate. He received his B.S. with High Honors from Montana State University in Biomedical Sciences, his Doctor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA and completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Utah where he developed a passion for surgery of the upper extremity.
He completed a fellowship at Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, FL dedicated to specializing in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions including microsurgery and arthroscopy. His training includes shoulder arthroplasty (shoulder replacement surgery) under renowned thought leaders in shoulder and elbow surgery.
After ten years of medical training, Dr. Schwartzenberger is humbled to have the opportunity to return home and provide the most up-to-date and advanced care for the orthopedic ailments of fellow Montanans.
